“Family Golf Day is a great way to bring families
together through golf. We're excited to bring Family Golf Day back
for a second year and delighted to have Pepsi Bottling Group
returning as a co-sponsor. We hope to build on last year's success
by introducing even more B.C. youngsters to the great game of
golf,” said Andy Hedley, vice president of golf
operations for GolfBC. “Whether you and your kids have
played before or are complete beginners, Family Golf Day is the
perfect opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge with the
GBC Golf Academy's qualified, award-winning
instructors,” he said.
Along with programs like “Kids Play Free at
GolfBC”, “Free Lesson Month”,
“Take-a-kid to the Course Week”, and
beginner-friendly certification, “Family Golf
Day” is just one part of GolfBC's mission to grow the
game, said Rita Rennie, GolfBC Marketing Manager.
“GolfBC is committed to providing enjoyable
opportunities for kids and families of all abilities to get out
there and experience the game,” she said.
