GolfBC Announces New Vancouver Island Golf Academy

Victoria, BC - The GolfBC Group would like to announce the creation of the GolfBC Golf Academy, which opened April 1 at GolfBC’s two Vancouver Island properties: Olympic View Golf Club in Victoria and Arbutus Ridge Golf Club in Cobble Hill, north of Victoria.

“Our goal is to produce the best and busiest Instructional Facilities on Vancouver Island”, said newly appointed Director of Instruction Edd Boudreau. “The newly formed Academy will be unique in sharing nine golf instructors from both properties with plans to add more staff in the fall.”

In addition to the appointment of former Arbutus Associate Professional Boudreau as Director of Instruction, the GolfBC Golf Academy is pleased to announce the addition of well known Island Golf Professionals John and Lori Randle to the instruction staff. John Randle, most recently with the Victoria Golf Academy, was awarded the prestigious “2002 BC PGA Teacher of the Year” while wife Lori has been one of the Island's
busiest teaching professionals most recently with Cedar Hill Golf Club. John & Lori are looking forward to bringing their current clientele and introducing new customers to the “Best Learning Center on the Island”.

As well as personalized individual lessons, the GolfBC Golf Academy will offer fun Group Clinics, entertaining Corporate Excursions, Fitness Evaluation assessments, Golf & Tennis packages and a world-class Golf School. Each program will be customized to the students’ or groups’ needs.
