GolfBC Group Announces GBC Family Golf Day

The GolfBC Group is pleased to introduce for 2008
‘GBC Family Golf Day’ in
June. GolfBC continues to lead the Canadian Golf
Industry in player development with programs such as
‘GolfBC Free Lesson Month’,
‘Kids Play Free at GolfBC’,
‘Beginner Friendly Certification’ and
‘Take-a-kid to the Course Week’ (in
partnership with the NGCOA).
‘GBC Family Golf Day’ is a great way to
introduce kids and beginner golfers to the game, in a fun and
relaxed environment. “GBC Family Golf Day”
will be offered by all GolfBC courses in British Columbia during
the month of June, where kids and accompanying adults are invited
to partake in fun clinics and golf competitions followed by a round
of golf or just a few practice holes. Refreshments will be provided
for all participants and each kid will receive a tee gift. For more

Participating courses are Nicklaus North, Furry Creek, Mayfair
Lakes, The Okanagan Golf Club (The Bear and The Quail),
Gallagher’s Canyon (The Pinnacle), Arbutus Ridge, and
Olympic View.
