GolfBC's GBC Golf Academy at Olympic View Wins Again!

Victoria, B.C., - Two GBC Golf Academy Teaching Professionals were honoured at the 2007 BCPGA Awards Dinner on October 10th, 2007, in
Penticton. John Randle won the coveted Teacher
of the Year award and Jamie Heffernan won the prestigious
Junior Promoter of the Year award.
The British Columbia Professional Golf Association (PGA of BC) awards are given out yearly, after a process that includes nominations from fellow professionals and the final voting by a panel of former award
winners. John Randle, Director of Instruction for the
GBC Golf Academy at Olympic View Golf Club is now a two time winner
of the Teacher of the Year award, having first
received the honour in 2002. This year’s win follows on
the heels of his wife Lori Randle’s victory in the same
category in 2006.

Instructor, won the Junior Promoter of the Year award for his
relentless promotion of junior golf at the Olympic View Golf Club
and throughout the Victoria area. “Having
expert instructors on staff, teamed with an award winning practice
facility and golf course, will surely build even more momentum for
our golf school and other instructional programs”, says
John Randle. “It’s great to be recognized
by our peers and I’m very happy to see Jamie Heffernan
